What was the highlight of Wailoaloa Beach Resort

The location was OK, the hotel need some experts to have it run and customer service. Booking. Com could check and have standard before listing.

The check in, the room was like a used room, there was no towels or door mats, the given towel was used, there was only 1x iron in the whole of the hotel, no ironing board. I was disturbed at 6 and could not sleep again

The fan room I booked was larger than I expected with great Windows for ventilation. Housekeeping was great and thoughtful to leave me an extra blanket when it was cold at night. The breakfast that's inclusive in the deal was filling with a good variety of options.

It was peaceful & great. I enjoyed the Fijian singing

Wifi should be available in rooms too. The aircond in room 204 was forever on and couldn’t switch off because the switch was so high..I asked reception girls to put it off twice but it never happened for the 5 nights I was there!

Staff were good to deal with despite the facilities issue

Cockroaches and mosquitoes and the facilities were poor some health and safety issue...ceiling fan noisy as and cupboards wouldn't close

Was close to seaplane and airport for a one night stop. Staff were helpful with providing refrigeration for box of vegetables we had to take up the yasawa islands. Much appreciated thanks. Breakfast included which was adequate. Appears to be a place locals come to stay. Fijian entertainment on Saturday night.

Room was very sparse. No tea or coffee making facilities or even cups. Had to go ask for towels and not blankets in The room. It was also noisy with planes till about 10am, walls were very thin and people about all hours of night making noise but it was Saturday night I guess. For the price it was okay and for one night

What was the highlight of Wailoaloa Beach Resort

I was there for an overnight stopover, which ended up being only a few hours, so I did not have time to explore the property. The rooms and the pool are in a fairly good condition.

I was not able to communicate with the property: my flight was delayed and I had emailed to inform about my new arrival time, but no-one turned up to pick me up at the airport, even though the property is supposed to have free airport pick up. Check-in staff was very unprofessional and unhelpful. Had to pay cash even though the property is supposed to accept cards. There were some empty beer bottles on the patio, a frog in my room and noisy neighbours (the walls are thin so I could hear them talking in the middle of the night).

Staff were not very nice, rude when we asked for help. Bed was uncomfortable and only had one layer of sheet as a blanket so spent the first night cold. Uncomfortable stay and had no amenities not even a Towel in the room. When asked if they could reccomended us anything to do in the area they responded with a simple "no", no one at the bar unless you went and asked for them.

Only two of the bar attendants name KARISHMA an tongan trainee girl service were good and was helpful.

It was very very bad staying there. Checking time we had to wait for more then 1 hour. Housekeeping very bad. Doesn’t change anything at all unless told. Bar attendants changing every minutes and coming up with new pricing for drinks. Seeing the guests drinking prices goes up. Night time one new guy came charging me more and also giving me wrong change for it. When managers came i took her to see my room. I gave the key to her and followed from behind. Lol ... she even didn’t know where was that number room. Went straight to some other room to my surprise. Management of this hotel never seen anywhere. I also took some pictures which I will upload very soon. So that people should see what’s going on there.

Same breakfast menu every morning and my room was hardly serviced during my stay e.g change bed sheets and bath towels etc. It was just left dirty because we stayed in and not go out.When u ask staff for new towels, takes forever to get one until you go yourself and get it from reception.

Parking was near to room which made is easier access to vehicle

We booked in 2 rooms, hotel had enough time to prepare the room as we checked in around 5.30 and we had called the hotel to advise them as well. Pool side was so dirty, bathrooms were really sorry and both rooms had no towels no bath mats we had to go collect it ourselves. Tv screen had ants all over freezer was not cooling we could not store our food. No warm blankets provided. There were plastic coating on bed which made it uncomfortable to sleep. Pool side was very dirty.. never booking at wailoaloa beach resort

This is our second time visiting this resort and my kids look forward to breakfast time because they loveeee their porridge..... I like its location... close enough and not too far off from our favourite restaurants and outdoor activities... beach, Denarau and Namaka/Nadi.

I believe I was overcharged. I booked via booking.com and As per my booking rate was $280.00 payable to resort. However, upon check-in I was asked to pay additional 10%. Upon questioning I was told that $280 is normal room rate however since I booked via booking.com I will need to additional being commission to booking.com.

Room does not get serviced unless you ask. No telephone and furniture, old and needs replacing. I have stayed in a much nicer place for this price. Don't eat in the restaurant for dinner, they don't know how to cook but breakfast is much better. They took my booking for free transport from the airport, we waited and waited and waited....only to arrive at the hotel by taxi to be told driver was somewhere else.
